The agglomeration of BB fertilizer not only affects the appearance quality of the product, but also causes great inconvenience to the storage, transportation and application of BB fertilizer. The main raw materials for NPK fertilizer manufacturing process are: urea, ammonium chloride, ammonium nitrate, potassium chloride, etc. These chemical substances have high solubility, are easily soluble in water, and are easy to absorb moisture and agglomerate, so the BB fertilizer made from them is easy to agglomerate during storage and transportation. Furthermore, in the production of NPK blended fertilizer production line, if the packaging temperature is high, the finished product is not sufficiently cooled, and the moisture in the product is not fully released, then during the storage process, as the temperature decreases, the solubility of these ingredients will decrease , when supersaturated, crystals precipitate out, resulting in agglomeration.
How to avoid caking phenomenon?
1. Reduce the moisture content of the fertilizer by heating the fertilizer dryer, and control the moisture content of the fertilizer below 0.6%. Extend the fertilizer cooling time and reduce the packaging temperature.
2. Add anti-caking agent to raw materials to reduce physical and chemical reactions between particles.
3. Reduce the temperature and humidity of the warehouse, keep the warehouse where the fertilizer is stored in a cool and dry place, ensure that the top does not leak rain, and the ground does not accumulate water. If necessary, install exhaust fans in the warehouse to cool down and dehumidify.
4. Fertilizers that are prone to chemical reactions should be stacked separately to prevent chemical reactions from agglomerating. After the fertilizer is stored for a period of time, it is often turned over.
