What are the common faults of fertilizer granulators?

In the granular fertilizer production line, the fertilizer granulator is one of the most important equipment, which seriously affects the quality of the finished fertilizer.

First, noise and severe vibration

Failure causes: 1. The bearing is damaged; 2. The ring die roller is seriously worn; 3. The gap between the ring die and the roller is too small; 4. There are foreign objects in the conditioner or feeder; 5. The main shaft bearing is too loose.

Troubleshooting methods: 1. Replace the bearing; 2. Replace the die roller; 3. Appropriately increase the gap between the die roller; 4. Clean up foreign objects; 5. Tighten the nut to reduce the clearance.

Second, the main machine load fluctuates unreasonably or the particle quality is uneven

Failure causes: 1. Insufficient steam supply or pressure changes in the steam pipe; 2. Unstable raw material transportation; 3. Wear of the deflection plate scraper causes uneven feeding.

Troubleshooting methods: 1. Check the steam pipeline; 2. Adjust the feeding speed; 3. Replace the deflection plate scraper.

 

Third, the fertilizer granulator stops during operation

Fault causes: 1. The tension of the V-belt is insufficient, causing the speed controller to operate; 2. The parameters of the speed control instrument are set unreasonably; 3. Part or all of the V-belt is severely worn or broken; 4. The main shaft rotates due to overload or impurities are stuck between the pressure roller and the ring die, and the travel switch falls off; 5. The pressure of the clamp is insufficient, or the gate disc is greased and slips, causing the main shaft to rotate and the travel switch to disengage; 6. Line fault.

Troubleshooting methods: 1. Re-adjust the tension of the V-belt or check the pressure value on the hydraulic system pressure gauge. If necessary, reset its pressure value (be careful when adjusting); 2. Reset its parameters; 3. Install a new set of V-belts, and do not replace only part of it; 4. Reset the main shaft and travel switch; 5. Reset the clamp oil pressure or clean the gate disc; 6. Check the circuit.
