Why choose NPK Fertilizer Blending technology?
If you are opening a new NPK fertilizer plant and have limited production experience, you can choose Huaqiang bulk blend fertilizer line. The technology is simple and does not require drying or pelletizing processes, so there is no need to purchase related dryers or pelletizing machines, which can save a lot of equipment preparation costs
To this end, we provide a variety of models for your actual production needs: output of 5 tons/hour, 10-15 tons/hour, 20 tons/hour, 50-60 tons/hour, 60-80 tons/hour. In addition, this NPK fertilizer production technology does not take up too much workshop space, about 500-3,000 square meters is enough.
The core equipment of this mixing technology is the rotary cylinder mixer. In order to provide customers with better production results, we have several types :BB fertilizer blender and vertical disc mixer and so on
NPK fertilizer blending method key equipment
Then, by exact batching and blending several single element fertilizer or compound fertilizer in a certain proportion, you can get fertilizers with balanced nutrients.
NPK fertilizer dry granulation process generally uses extrusion method, through external pressure to aggregate solid or powder materials. In addition, roll extrusion is the most common method of producing NPK compound fertilizer.
Dry granulation requires low humidity of raw materials (less than 20%), strong volatility, and the formation of particles without water or containing a small amount of water through physical pressure. Therefore, we found some suitable raw materials for direct NPK fertilizer dry granulation: granular ammonium sulfate, powdered superphosphate, solid potassium sulfate and so on.
The whole dry granulation process also includes crushing, mixing, batching, packaging and other steps.
In fact, wet granulation produced by NPK fertilizers uses agglomeration to extrude powdery materials into balls, a process that requires the help of some liquid phase (water, steam, and adhesive). Therefore, our factory has developed two types of granulation: rotary drum granulation and disc granulation.
In wet granulation, main NPK materials are continuously fed into a rotating disc or drum. And you should spray water solution and adhesive to help form fine particles into NPK fertilizer pellets. What can you get from wet granulation technique?
Firstly, this process promotes the growth of particles, resulting in spherical shapes with a smooth surface. The wet raw materials reduce dust generation during NPK fertilizer processing.
Then, by adjusting wet granulator parameters, you can accurately control NPK fertilizer pellets' shape and size. Besides, with higher output and efficiency compared to dry granulators, a single wet granulation machine can produce high to medium concentration compound fertilizers over 10 tons per hour.
Besides, after drying, cooling, screening and packing processes, you can obtain NPK compound fertilizer products.
Crushing Techniques in NPK Fertilizer Production
In NPK fertilizer production, crushing is an important process to break compound NPKs into smaller particles for better mixing and granulation. Thus, there are three common crushing techniques, which are urea crusher, cage crusher and chain crusher.
These crushing techniques have a significant impact on breaking down raw materials into the desired particle sizes for further
processing in NPK fertilizer production.
Batching Techniques for NPK Compounds Processing
When it comes to the batching technology in NPK fertilizer production, our company has designed dynamic and static batching machines to ensure that the ingredient-mixing process has an error of less than 0.01. Besides, both of these machines have unique characteristics and applicability.
How to Fomulate 15-15-15 NPK Compound Fertilizer?
Taking a common NPK fertilizer formula as an example. Firstly, the proportion of NPK is 15-15-15, which means that the content of 15% N, 15% P205 and 15% K20. Here are some details of this formula.
*Urea (nitrogen content 46%): Adding about 32.6%.
*MAP (phosphorus content 61%): Adding about 24.6%.
*Potassium sulfate (potassium content 52%): Adding about 28.8%.
*Other fillers and trace elements: Adding about 14%.
In the actual batching process, an operator will add various raw materials to dynamic or static batching machine according to the corresponding NPK ratio of the specific formulas. Then, you can add the necessary auxiliary materials to meet the requirements of the finished fertilizers. Additionally, the advanced control system automatically calculates the amount of each NPK component and strictly monitors the ratio during the batching process. Thus, this ensures the accuracy of the NPK ratio of 15-15-15.
Of course, we will ask the customer in advance if they are considering an automatic feeding system to reduce human intervention. As a result, this high-precision batching technology makes the NPK fertilizer production process more reliable and efficient, meeting the needs of different industries, including professional users in agriculture, horticulture, and soil improvement.
How to Make The Best Ratio in NPK Fertilizer Production Process?
In most cases,NPKratio (N:P205:K20) is 1-1-1 (e.g.15:15:15 or 20:20:20) will provide all of the nutrients that all plants require for optimal growth. Besides, here are some formulas for NPK fertilizer prodution are as follows
Full Growth
Besides, you can make the NPK mixtures ratio of 4-2-3 or 4-3-2 for full growth period of crops.
Rooting
Fertilizer factory can raise phosphorus content, like 1-2-1 NPK fertilizer ratios.
Flowering & Fruiting
You can increase potassium ratios to 1-1-2, 1-2-2, or 2-1-2.
Leaf Growth
NPK fertilizer factory need to achieve 2-1-1 or 3-1-1fertilizer ratios.
If you want to make accurate compound NPKs proportion, you need more than one high-quality batching machine. However, if raw materials contain large pieces that are difficult to handle, like DAP or other phosphorus sources, you should crush them firstly.
The adoption of NPK fertilizer production technology plays a pivotal role in your manufacturing processes for the production of high quality compound fertilizers. Our production lines are equipped with three distinct techniques for NPK fertilizer blending, wet granulation, and dry granulation, covering the entire process from crushing to bagging. These techniques enable us to efficiently produce compound NPK fertilizers with multiple nutrients.
