Introduction to various common composting turning machines

2025/01/04

Composting turning machine is a mechanical equipment developed and produced based on dynamic composting, which turns and scatters materials through mechanical force. The following is a detailed introduction of composting turning machine by Huaqiang Heavy Industry:
1. Working principle
The working principle of composting turning machine mainly relies on the power device (such as motor or diesel engine) to drive the working parts (such as turning teeth, spiral agitator, etc.) to rotate or reciprocate, so as to achieve effective turning and mixing of materials.
2. Type
According to different designs and uses, composting turning machines can be divided into many types, including but not limited to:
Trough turning machine: turning equipment for trough composting, generally with a trough height of about 2 meters, an hourly processing capacity of more than 1,500 cubic meters, and diesel as power; domestic equipment is mostly driven by electricity, with a processing capacity of less than 800 cubic meters, and the turning force is not as good as diesel drive.

Strip turning machine: turning equipment used for strip composting, mostly used for agricultural poultry and livestock manure composting and small-scale municipal sludge treatment projects.
Self-propelled compost turner: The biggest feature is that it saves a lot of manpower and material resources, making the scale of fertilizer production more flexible, especially suitable for converting agricultural waste, stored feces and organic household waste into high-quality bio-organic fertilizer.
Crawler compost turner: It has the function of mobile walking and is suitable for a variety of terrains and site conditions.
Wheel compost turner: For example, a compost turning machine with a four-wheel walking design, the rotating blade shaft mounted under the frame is used to turn, fluff and move the raw materials in the pile, and it can move forward, backward or turn freely, and only one person is needed to operate and drive.
