The
compost turner first appeared in Germany (mid-20th century) and was developed to improve the oxygen supply and material shape in aerobic fermentation composting. It mainly produces aerobic compost turners, which are of many types, including strip chopping and trough type turners; they can handle open and closed material piles, and also mix and biologically dry the compost, with complete functions. The travel and turning parts of the turner are all controlled by a full hydraulic system, reducing mechanical transmission methods such as chain transmission and gear transmission, simplifying the transmission system of the whole machine, and improving the transmission efficiency, working stability and operational flexibility of the turner. By optimizing and improving the turning knife roller and travel device of the main working parts of the machine, the aerobic compost raw materials are stacked more tightly and the appearance is more regular, so as to achieve the purpose of rapid heating of aerobic composting, shortening the composting cycle and improving production efficiency.
The American strip chop compost turner is a research result based on the aerobic composting microbial fermentation process technology of agricultural solid waste. The
