The process of fermenting livestock and poultry manure to make organic fertilizer is a biochemical process involving multiple steps, which aims to convert organic matter in the manure into nutrient-rich fertilizer. The following are the detailed operation steps and precautions of the
organic fertilizer production line:
1. Collection and pretreatment. Collect fresh livestock and poultry manure, such as chicken manure, pig manure, etc. Remove impurities such as stones and plastics, and perform preliminary treatment by drying, crushing, etc. to reduce the volume of manure and improve fermentation efficiency.
2. Ingredients. Mix the treated manure with organic matter such as fermentation agent, straw, and rice straw in a certain proportion. The amount of fermentation agent added is about 0.1%-1% of the weight of the manure, and the specific proportion can be adjusted according to the instructions for use of the fermentation agent. The amount of organic matter such as straw and rice straw can be adjusted according to the actual situation and the carbon-nitrogen ratio of the manure to optimize the fermentation effect.
3. Mixing. Stir the ingredients thoroughly and evenly so that the fermentation agent is in full contact with the manure to ensure that the fermentation process can proceed smoothly.
4. Composting. Pile the mixed materials in a flat and well-ventilated place to form a fermentation pile. The thickness of the fermentation pile is generally about 1-1.5 meters, and the width and length can be adjusted according to actual conditions. During the composting process, ensure that there is sufficient oxygen supply inside the fermentation pile to promote the reproduction and fermentation process of aerobic microorganisms.
5. Turning the pile. During the fermentation process of the
organic fertilizer production line, the pile is turned every 2-3 days. The purpose of turning the pile is to maintain uniform fermentation, reduce the fermentation temperature, prevent excessive decomposition, and promote the entry of oxygen.
6. Moisture regulation. During the fermentation process, the moisture condition of the fermentation pile should be checked regularly. If the moisture is insufficient, water can be added appropriately; if the moisture is too much, drainage or dry materials need to be added. Generally speaking, the moisture content of the fermentation pile should be kept at about 50%-60%.
7. Fermentation time. The fermentation time varies depending on factors such as the type of feces and fermentation conditions. Generally speaking, the fermentation time takes from several weeks to several months. During the fermentation process, the temperature changes of the fermentation pile should be observed. When the temperature drops to about 40°C, it indicates that the fermentation is basically completed.
8. Screening and packaging. After fermentation is completed, the material is screened to remove impurities and incompletely decomposed substances. The
organic fertilizer production line packages the screened materials to make organic fertilizer products.
